The weather here in Cambridge has been so lovely these past few days, although it is grey again now. Here are a few photos of what we’ve been up to.

After Strawberry Fair, these sofas were left on the Common for a few days. Not sure why, but they made a surreal sight!

I’ve been enjoying cycling about on my new old bike, and the other day I found these fun polka dot panniers, for £4 from University Cycles on Victoria Avenue, a haphazard sort of shop with everything lying around in piles.

Me steering on our way out to rescue a friend’s boat which had broken down at Baits Bite lock. Willow’s first towing job!

Jesus Green Lido is an unheated outdoor pool just along the river from us. Last night I went for dip in the evening, which was lovely. The water temperature was 19 degrees, very pleasant!

  1. Finally found my login and password for WordPress so here goes: Love the panniers! I totally admire your ability to spot the gold amongst the brass in terms of thrift stores. A dip in a pool–how lovely! The boat refurbishing is looking good!
