Country Mooring

We’ve spent the last couple of days out at “our” country mooring, the GOBA 48hr moorings at Bottisham. We caught up with the Pippins and James went with John to Emmaus and the tip, getting rid of some furniture which we had hoped would find a home on Willow but didn’t quite fit, and some cardboard which had accumulated on the boat. He also picked up some nice “directors” chairs, perfect for sitting outside or for additional internal seating.

This morning, some friends were passing – they were on their way to Ely and didn’t know we were here, but stopped in for an impromptu cream tea, with last year’s homemade Towpath Jam (blackberries, redcurrants, sloes & apples, but no cyclists or swans) eaten off our Willow pattern china.

We’ve also got on with some tiling, of which more in another post!
